School Life / Key Stage 2

About Key Stage 2

Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 make up St Andrew’s Key Stage 2. Our classes enjoy increased independence and responsibility within a creative and exciting curriculum, where they begin to be able to make choices about their learning and how to organise themselves.

As children move through Key Stage 2 they have many opportunities to help the younger children and demonstrate their ability to be role models. This may be in the form of being a Playground Buddy, an assembly monitor, a librarian or even a School Office assistant!

Highlights of the Key Stage 2 year have included performing at the Egg Theatre, storytelling to Year 1, building huge lanterns and taking part in the Lantern Parade through Bath as well as representing the school in sports events, such as cross country running and tag rugby.

Our Key Stage 2 teachers are Kate Sandey, Niamh Johnston, Charlotte Buckley, Helen Shoubridge and Tristan Harris.

What our Key Stage 2 children say…
