School trips and visits are an important format for learning and discovery beyond the classroom. They often provide practical, hands-on ways for the children to engage with the key subjects in their termly topics. And of course they can be great fun too!
Year 4 and Year 6 loved their visit to the capital city of London in November. They explored the Palace of Westminster and watched debates in the House of Commons and the House of Lords! Then they went on a beautiful walk along the river before hopping on a boat to see the Tower of London.
“The Houses of Parliament were fantastic. It was brilliant to see how much goes on there; my highlight was watching debates in the House of Commons and the House of Lords.”
